The Central Government Allocated 1.7 billion yuan to support

       Xinhua Beijing, July 8 (Gao, Han Jie) reporter learned from the Treasury on the 8th, 2013, the   central government has recently allocated central infrastructure investment budget (funding) 1.735 billion yuan earmarked for support of GPs clinical training base construction projects in Beijing, Hebei , Inner Mongolia, Liaoning and other 32 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and some other planning cities.
       It is reported that China's "Twelfth Five-Year" will strengthen primary health care teams which focus on the general practitioner and build a training network which  regards  grassroots base and clinical training base as the body ,concentrates on regulating and improving the capabilities of clinical diagnosis and treatment and public health service. Through a variety of training ways like rotating station training on-job training and standardized training, it will has 150,000 general practitioners by 2015. As a result that every 10,000 urban residents has 2 or more general practitioners and every township health center has general practitioner.
